I want to spotlight Protea’s VePro protein powder. Not only is it chock full of clean ingredients, but anyone can use it to make a quick on the go shake! You can even bake it in muffins, brownies and pancakes to add some protein to your day.
I sincerely believe that a healthy outlook on food and nutrition should be taught at a young age. For example, my son has been asking for smoothies for almost a year now. He knows what the VePro bottle looks like and he knows the steps that go into making a smoothie. If you could see his eyes light up and his body’s excitement .. it’s amazing! He really feels it is a treat! He will drink the entire smoothie portion I give him and thank me, “Thank you Mommy!”. He also gets so excited when I bake with it!
By implementing these good food choices and involving my son in the process he appreciates it so much more. I love that he thinks a healthy smoothie is a treat. This is not to say that he does not get to have treats other than this, but I do not believe that he will ever look at smoothies or protein powder, in this case, like a chore to eat or drink.
Much like living an acting lifestyle can model an active lifestyle for your children, the same can go for what they consume. I strongly believe that our children will mold the future. This Protea line that Amber has helped create has, in my opinion, brought a whole new level of high-quality products to the market.
We always recommend consulting your pediatrician before allowing your child to consume any supplements.
