We recently unveiled our new Collagen5+, an exclusive formula with five types of collagens made from natural sources to ensure stronger hair, nails, and youthful looking skin. Collagen5+ promotes bone and joint health, healthy weight and improved digestion and comes as an unflavored powdered drink mix making it very versatile! You can easily add it into your favorite beverage or include in a protein shake for an added boost of protein. But did you know you can also bake and cook with collagen? Yes, you can! Collagen is the perfect way to add protein into your favorite recipes.

Here are a few delicious recipes to try out this week!

Collagen Cookie Dough!

Ingredients:

–       1 cup “drippy” nut butter. (needs to be drippy to work best!)

–       ½ cup Collagen5+

–       1/3 cup Chocolate VePro protein powder

–       1 cup old fashioned oats

–       3 tbsp honey

–       ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

–       2-5 tbsp water*

Directions:

1)    Mix nut butter, collagen, protein powder, oats, and honey in a large bowl.

2)    Once mixed, fold in the chocolate chips.

3)    Add water to moisten the dough. How much you need will depend on how runny the nut butter was. You want the dough to be sticky and hold shape – not chalky.

4)    Roll dough into 1 tbsp rounded balls.

5)    Eat immediately, or chill for 30 minutes.

6)    Store in the refrigerator.

2)    Immediately mix in collagen, cocoa powder, and coconut sugar. Use a hand mixer for best blending!

3)    Serve immediately!
